Esther Perel is a renowned psychotherapist whose TED talks on love, intimacy and infidelity have inspired millions. Recently, she opened her office to microphones to capture the therapy sessions of couples she was working with. Don’t worry — they all consented. The result is an intimate, if slightly uncomfortable, show called Where Should We Begin all about the inner workings of coupledom.
In addition to hosting Where Should We Begin, Perel is also the author of the new book, The State of Affairs: Rethinking Infidelity, as well as the 2007 book Mating in Captivity: Unlocking Erotic Intelligence. So if you don’t have time to read her books, the show is a great hands-on resource. Relationship tips abound.
